Worth doing while you wait
- ✓Check your pet’s microchip and rabies record. The chip must be fitted before the rabies vaccination, and there is a 21 day wait after that vaccination before travel into the EU.
- ✓Book your vet early. An Animal Health Certificate has to be issued within ten days of entering the EU, and official vets get booked up quickly, especially in summer.
- ✓Keep your phone nearby. We often call to talk your route through, it is the fastest way to a firm quote.
